Who's fighting for you

Meet Clayton Tartt

Clayton grew up in Livingston, Alabama. He graduated with honors from the University of West Alabama, followed by Jones School of Law, where he excelled as a senior editor on the Law Review and competed in national moot court competitions.

Clayton began his career in Montgomery with Copeland, Franco, Screws, & Gill. The firm was part of Milton McGregor’s defense team in the Alabama bingo corruption trials. After nearly two years and two lengthy trials, the defense team secured a full acquittal. Then he partnered with Jim Parkman and William White in Birmingham at Boles Holmes Parkman White. After 15 years in Montgomery and Birmingham, Clayton decided it was time to move back home to West Alabama and open his own practice in Tuscaloosa, Tartt Law llc.

Clayton’s primary practice area is litigation, handling criminal and civil cases in both state and federal courts. Additionally, he works with doctors, lawyers, dentists, pharmacists, and other professionals in connection to investigations, audits, business disputes, and professional licensing issues. He also litigates appeals. Clayton is dedicated to helping people and businesses, tailoring his approach for each case. He has also volunteered for organizations focused on post-conviction relief in Alabama, showcasing his commitment to justice and providing zealous representation to those who trust him.
